Kurs

10th Nordic Dermoscopy Course

Preliminary Programme

The Nordic Dermoscopy course includes five pre-recorded sessions and quizzes followed by a live full-day course in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The course will be conducted by Professor John Paoli, Dept. of Dermatology and Venereology, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

The course will combine lectures with interactive ”Test yourself” sessions. The basic theory on how to name and classify the myriad of patterns and local structures we observe in both pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions will be thoroughly covered accompanied by several typical examples of each diagnosis. In addition, images of atypical presentations will be included in the lectures to increase awareness regarding the morphologic variability observed in numerous lesion types.
During the interactive sessions, the participants will be able to test their newfound knowledge.

These sessions will also provide an opportunity to discuss differential diagnoses and management plans based on the dermoscopic findings.

  • The pre-recorded lectures will be sent to participants approximately 1 month prior to the course.
  • Watching the pre-recorded sessions and taking the quizzes will take approximately 6 hours, which can be divided into six 1-hour sessions or three 2-hour sessions.
  • Each participant can go through these lectures and exercises at their own leisure.
