Information about the Swedish Contact Dermatitis Research Group
The area of interest of the Swedish Contact Dermatitis Research Group is contact dermatitis and other occupational and environmental dermatoses.
The main aim of the group is to carry out research and developmental work and to be a body to which proposed measures are referred for consideration from government and organizations.
Swedish Contact Dermatitis Research Group is the Swedish equivalence to EECDRG. The group was constituted in 1996 is lead by a chairman and a secretary.
Membership is acquired through election after recommendation from the members of the group. The size of the group except emeriti is about twelve individuals. Two of them are chosen by the "Swedish Interest Group of Occupational and Environmental Dermatology" which is an open forum with clinical aim, open to everybody interested in occupational and environmental dermatology. The Swedish Contact Dermatitis Research Group as a whole should have clinical experience in dermatology and allergology and have a broad competence within experimental and epidemiological research chemistry and immunology.
The group assists the Swedish Interest Group of Occupational and Environmental Dermatology and local arrangers in the arrangement of occupational and environmental dermatological meetings and education
